New Name, New Look For Nation's Leading Manufacturer of Farm and Animal Management Equipment

Dunnville, Ky., June 23, 2008 - Tarter Gate, LLC announces the renaming of their company and branded product lines.

Effective immediately, Tarter Gate will be known as simply, Tarter. Along with the company's revamped identity are new names for their popular product lines. American Farmland, Equestrian World, Billy Goat Gruff and Terrain Tough will now be referred to as Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment, Tarter Equestrian Equipment, Tarter Goat and Small Animal Equipment and Tarter ATV Equipment, respectively. The Elite Kennels line will become part of the goat and small animal equipment. A new corporate identity will accompany Tarter's new name, including the new logo above.

Tarter, now in its 63rd year of operation, is the nation's largest manufacturer of farm gates and animal management equipment. Its products are distributed to farm stores and cooperatives, including such major organizations as Southern States, Tractor Supply Company and various other retailers nationwide.

"Rest assured that the name is the only modification we are making to the more than 600 quality farm and ranch equipment products that we bring to market everyday," said Travis Cox, Tarter general manager.
