Introducing Liberty Water Tanks

Tarter Gate, Inc., makers of the American Farmland® brand of farm gates and animal management equipment, has opened the doors of a new manufacturing facility, Liberty Water Tank, LLC, located in Liberty, Ky. The plant is a subsidiary of Tarter Gate that focuses solely on the production of the American Farmland brand of galvanized stock tanks.

Because of its specialized approach to tank production, this new facility sets exceptionally high quality standards for galvanized stock tanks produced at the plant. All tanks feature heavy-duty, G90 zinc-coated, 20 gauge bottoms and 21 gauge sides, making them superior to the industry’s standard use of 22 gauge steel.

Tanks are offered in oval (40-380 gallon capacity) and round (155, 390 and 690 gallon sizes) configurations, featuring a four-ply, double-lock seam at the bottom sealed with Pliogrip® Adhesive/Sealant Seam Sealer. Deep sidewall corrugation adds strength, while the heavy-duty zinc G90 coating ensures the tanks will withstand any type of harsh weather conditions. The 1-1/8 inch top rim is permanently rolled for strong reinforcement. Most tanks feature a 1-inch drain plug.
