Tarter Gate Unveils Three Brands of Quality Farm and Animal Management Equipment

Dunnville, Kentucky - February 15, 2003

Tarter Gate, LLC announces the introduction of three new registered trademarks for their distinct lines of farm and animal management equipment. American Farmland® has been established as the brand name for Tarter Gate’s line of farm gates, corral panels and cattle management equipment. Billy Goat Gruff® is the new brand name for Tarter Gate’s line of goat management equipment. Equestrian World® is the brand covering Tarter Gate’s line of equine equipment, including stalls and corral panels.
Tarter Gate, now in its 58th year, is the nation’s largest manufacturer of farm gates and equipment. Its products are distributed to farm stores and cooperatives, including such major organizations as Tractor Supply Company, Southern States, Tennessee Farm Coop, Alabama Farmer’s Cooperative, Atwood’s and other farm retailers nationwide.

“These new brands will enable the end user to more easily distinguish between Tarter Gate quality and other more generic products on the market,” said Tarter Gate President Donald Tarter. “We want customers to see the craftsmanship and understand the real value they’re getting when they buy any of our products. We believe the label and the trademark is a way of communicating with the people who use our products,” he said.

Labels will be applied to all Tarter Gate products effective February 1, 2003.
